Mark Carey has enjoyed a long and exciting career as a paperboy, janitor, apartment
maintenance, waiter, CPA, caterer, National Guard, missionary, warehouse worker and forklift operator, sign
supply purchasing manager, furniture maker, global product leader, fashion blog advisor, veteran of 4 former
and current startups and in his spare time was a risk and analytics partner at Deloitte.
His diverse work experiences have helped Mark learn a little bit about a lot of things - and a passion to
find better ways to find, assemble, process and organize information in systematic and repeatable ways. Mark
led a project working with data scientists at the Sante Fe Institute to develop a Bayesian risk analysis
system, leading him toward a career focused on building advanced risk processes and systems for many of the
largest companies and government agencies in the world. He is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of DDUX,
where he works closely with the resident genius team of analysts, engineers and data scientists, giving them
seemingly unsolvable business problems to solve using the DDUX platform, including configurable tools,
analytics workspaces, AI, deep learning, social graphs and our extensive data sets.
