Twice a year, the City of Friscos Public Art Program hosts the Art in the Atrium exhibition. The exhibitions feature 2-Dimensional artwork created by North Texas artists. Artwork is on view throughout the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center for approximately five months. This is an ideal opportunity for artists eager to share their works of art and vision with the community.

Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (commonly referred to as sUAS or "drones") are an emerging technology, which offers exciting possibilities for public safety. Drones are being used to aid in disaster relief, accident reconstruction, crime scene documentation, searching for missing persons, and providing situational awareness for first responders.
This course is designed for public safety professionals seeking to obtain a license to operate an unmanned aircraft. This one-day class will help you prepare for and pass the FAA's remote pilot exam, commonly referred to as the Part 107 Exam. The Part 107 Exam will test your knowledge of aviation regulations, rules of airspace, aeronautical decision making, aerodynamics, mission planning and other aviation related topics.
This comprehensive program has been specifically designed for public safety personnel, sworn and civilian.

How can places of worship perform their missions while providing the most safety
possible to the people who enter? This course provides practical "nuts and bolts"
information for clergy and staff of churches, temples, synagogues, and mosques. This information will give attendees the tools they need to make their places of worship a safer place. This course provides crucial information on realistic and sensible steps to improve safety and security while never losing sight of the mission of the institution. It was designed with sensitivity to the diverse needs and resources of houses of worship of all sizes - from small churches to large churches or cathedrals -realizing each has different needs.
This course will explain the nature and motives for criminal offending at places of
worship and will address proven techniques for protective building structures and
reducing the likelihood of victimization.
